The Dead Bug Collection is a three volume compilation of my many years of 4 track and 8 track recording. I employed forensic attention and care to tranfer and mix from the original master tapes and files when possible. However, due to house fires, floods, tape/ disc degradation and exposure to time in general; some tape hiss and audio imperfections will be apparent.
Some of these songs have been trapped on 4 track tape, entering the digital realm for the first time on this collection.
The others were only released on limited handmade CD's that have long since deteriorated.
I wanted to digitize and share them before they crumble and warp any further, because as Neil Young said "Rust never sleeps."
